Great Sales and Communication Program on Sale
By Lynn Pierce | December 2, 2008
Boy was I surprised by the emails I came back to after the holiday weekend.
Looks like more than a few people were upset that I would run a sale that only lasted for a few days right before a holiday. Really they were upset that it was over before they read their email. (a recap is below)
http://www.lynnpierce.com/GTY-specialoffer.htm
I have to admit I didn’t really think about how many people leave their email behind when traveling, but that’s the way it should be. Holidays are all about family, not work!
So I’m going to run the whole thing again until Friday, the 5th.
I’m grateful you’re one of my subscribers and I don’t want you to miss out.

What’s New
In the U.S. today is Thanksgiving Day, which I’m sure means different things to different people. Tomorrow is the start of the Christmas season or as retailers call it, “Black Friday” where they try to go into a profit for the year.
With the economy in the situation it is it seems that the media has forgotten all about Thanksgiving and has moved right into economic predictions for the Christmas season.
So I want to take some time today to focus on what Thanksgiving is really about. To me it’s about giving thanks, which comes down to our ability to give and receive love and the appreciation for what we have in our lives.

Thanksgiving: The Gift of Giving and Receiving
By Lynn Pierce | November 27, 2008
Yesterday as I was walking on the beach I thought about all the things I’m grateful in my life in preparation for today being Thanksgiving. I don’t know about you, but I do this on a daily basis in my journal. It’s something that keeps me grounded and focused on what’s good in my life.
Giving thanks relies on your ability to give and receive and acknowledge what others have contributed to your life as well as what you have created for yourself and how you contribute to others.
Your ability to give is the reflection, acknowledgment and appreciation of what you have received.
There are many ways you can give love by giving thanks:
* You can teach what you’ve learned
* You can give your time
* You can give your attention
* You can give your ideas
* You can give your money to a cause you believe in
When I look at the totality of my life, I’ve had a pretty great life that I’m very grateful for. At the same time, nobody’s life is a straight line to the top. There are times when you hit bottom and there are times when you really depend on the support of your friends who love you.
I’m no history teacher, but I can tell you that all those years ago when the pilgrims came to this country, it was no day at the beach. They had a lot to deal with just to stay alive and make a new home for themselves.
And yet at that one point in time they came together to give thanks. And when I look at the struggles many people are going through right now, I know that no matter what your personal situation we can all find things we are grateful for today.
For me, the last 18 months have been quite a roller coaster with the end of a 17 year marriage and the ripple effect that created in every other area of my life and yet those months have also been filled with joy and some of the happiest times.
I have so many things I’m grateful for that may not have showed up if not for those difficult situations. For one thing, I developed much deeper relationships with my friends and found some new friends. I’ve allowed myself to be much more open and honest and vulnerable in my life and I’m very grateful for the wonderful gifts I’ve experienced because I’ve opened my heart in that way.
Over the years, especially since writing, “Change One Thing, Change Your Life”, I’ve discovered that most people either have a difficult time with giving or receiving.
Today, take a look at which is easier for you to do. If you can give all day long but find it difficult to allow someone to do something for you, give that pleasure to someone who loves you today and let them experience how wonderful it feels to give.
If you’re one of those people who is good about receiving, but maybe you’ve convinced yourself you don’t have anything worth giving, just try giving a little bit to someone you love today and see what happens. How about saying something nice and watching how that makes the other person light up. That’s your gift.
This is a day for stepping out of your normal comfort zone and really experiencing what Thanksgiving is all about. I promise you’ll feel better at the end of the day for doing it.
Until next week, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Just comment on this post on my blog. http://www.YourBreakthroughToSuccess.com/blog

Getting To Yes Without Selling- 50% Off Sale
By Lynn Pierce | November 21, 2008
There was a slight glitch witht he ending of the video below on asking the right questions.
I didn’t know I could only record 10 minutes and I ran out of time just when I was going to tell you where you could get Getting to Yes Without Selling, my sales and communication program, on sale for 50% off along with some amazing bonuses to help you succeed even quicker!
It’s pretty funny actually. The video cuts me off right at that point.
So here’s the info:
This 50% off sale expires on November 24th, so go take a look now.
The program sells everyday for $997.00…but you get the entire program for just $497!
I started thinking about doing something for you last week and decided to do the videos and on the first day someone posted a comment and asked if there was going to be a course that goes with this information.
Since I already had one, it made sense to just give you a great deal on picking it up now while we’re discussing it-besides the reasons listed below.
There are more 3 reasons I’m offering this sale:
1. It’s my way of saying, “Thank you for being my loyal subscriber!”
2. Just look at that cover when you get to the page. Who is that woman??? It’s time to re-package and re-brand and I’m closing out all the old inventory with this cover.
And most importantly for your business success and ease of communication…
3. In today’s awakening world it’s time to talk about the most important aspect of all the sales and communication principles. This will give you broad perspective on ‘Conscious Selling’ and ‘Soft Power’.
Click the Link Below and Get Your Complete Program For 50% Off!
http://www.lynnpierce.com/GTY-specialoffer.htm
And if the 50% savings isn’t enough cause to celebrate, I’m also throwing in
Three Free Bonuses Worth $1750.00!
The bonus teleseminars offered here are not available anywhere, (they are completely new content I’ll be creating with you in response to your needs and desires) …and when you accept my offer of 50% off, you can have both of them free!
Bonus 1: Two Teleseminars on ‘Conscious Sales’ and ‘Soft Power’
Yes, there is a sales process and a system that applies to every conversation where the desired result is someone saying yes to you. It doesn’t matter if your ‘YES’ is the agreement for a multi-million dollar contract, getting a publisher to buy your manuscript, having hundreds of people flood your new coaching program or membership site or just getting your spouse to agree on a restaurant for dinner without a 15 minute discussion.
So what do ‘Conscious Sales’ and ‘Soft Power’ have to do with any of this?
They are the key to the quality of relationships you create while you’re doing everything you do. They are also the key to your eliminating the stress and anxiety that can be associated with the completion of any of those so called negotiations. And don’t kid yourself, you’re engaged in activities where you want the result to be yes for you all day long!
You’ll discover the full scope of how mastering these topics can make you happier and more fulfilled, your life more relaxed and enjoyable, all while you get a lot more accomplished with a whole lot less effort. I know that sounds too good to be true but this type of communication skill really does work miracles in any relationship-even with your most difficult client!
Here are just a few of the things you’ll learn in these two teleseminars that will put money in your pocket:
* You’ll learn the real key to attracting new clients who will not only be thrilled to do business with you, but flood you with referrals without any pressure from you.
* You’ll learn how to show up in your business in such a powerful way that people will be drawn to you with little or no effort on your part.
* You’ll learn how by being authentically you.
* You’ll discover how to attract clients who are a joy to work with.
* Your clients will have a new respect for the value you bring to them, so the price of your product or service doesn’t even come into question.
($1000.00 value)
Bonus 2: Q & A Teleseminar
You tell me what you want to talk about. Any questions you have about this system and how to apply it to:
* creating your sales process
* your marketing materials
* your branding statements
* questions on any specific interaction with your clients
* …or how you can apply this communication system in any relationship in your life because this doesn’t just apply to your business
($500.00 value)
Fast Action Bonus! (If You’re One of the First 50) A Private One-on-One Half Hour Consultation
I’m offering 25 hours of my time because I want to see 50 people who are decisive in their lives succeed as quickly as possible to the highest level. I will personally mentor you. This is what I do best. You’ll be amazed at what we’ll accomplish together with laser focus on your business for 30 minutes. This bonus will disappear from the site when all 50 slots are reserved, so act quickly.
($250.00 value)

What’s New
I have a little bit of a rant for you now.
I’ve noticed that lately there seems to be people popping up from all different areas of expertise claiming to have a great sales system. Well, from what I’ve seen most of them don’t know what they’re talking about. This is really upsetting to me because it’s such an important foundation of your business and I hate to see you mislead into using a faulty or dysfunctional system.
Some of these ‘experts’ have no real experience as a salesperson at all, while others have a brief sales background and are just repeating the basic sales training they received on the job. And sadly, some of them are trying to make a fast buck thinking that’s what you need to make it in this economy-and that part’s true, you do need help with this.
But make sure if you’re going to get a sales program that you get it from someone who truly has the track record of being in the trenches of sales, management and sales training over the long haul.
For example, I spent 25 years in sales as a full time career and have trained everyone from veteran sales people to people who have never sold anything and don’t want to look or feel like a salesperson now.
There’s an art and a finesse to sales, and if done properly, a great sales and communication system can turn this part of your business into a very enjoyable, relaxed and profitable process.
Now that I think about it, I have more to say on this so I think I’ll do something special for you next week. Look for an email from me about Getting to Yes Without Selling the first part of the week because I think we need to talk about conscious selling.
Today’s article is on publishing and how you choose which style of publishing works best for you. As a disclaimer I do have my own imprint, Genesis Publishing, with Morgan James Publishing.
We are still having beautiful summer like weather here in San Diego. It’s going to be around 80 so my beach walks are very enjoyable right before sunset. I walk for an hour. Last night I went from sunshine to sunset and the orange sky. Then as I walked up the steps from the beach I saw a beautiful full moon that appeared to be hanging right over my house.
My dogs have adjusted well too, although they really don’t appreciate the beach. Spike is sitting on my lap now as I’m typing.

How to Know When to Go for a Big Publisher or Self-Publish
By Lynn Pierce | November 15, 2008
Last week I had an inquiry from a new client who currently has a self-published book and small product line. She feels like it’s time to re-publish her book and wanted to talk about whether she should continue with self-publishing or move to a bigger publisher.
Since it seems like more and more of my subscribers are either authors, in the process of writing a book or thinking about writing one, I thought this would be a good place to talk about this for everyone’s benefit.
Many of my clients fit in one of the categories above and they come to me to help them create a blueprint for their life (first of all so they know what they want their life to look like) and then design how they will incorporate some type of
information products into the mix to at least partially put their business on autopilot so they can enjoy their life and have the money to do so.
When we look at the role being an author plays in this mix it has many different possibilities.
- First it could be that you are using your book as a lead generator for your current or future business activities.
- It could be the launching platform for a new direction in your business.
- Or you want to increase your visibility in your industry and achieve celebrity status.
- Or you just want to get on Oprah!
Whatever it is there are times when self-publishing is perfectly fine. there are other situations where it makes sense to get a big publisher to take your book.
There is another option, entrepreneurial publishing, which combines the best of both worlds in the way that only entrepreneurs could structure a win/win publishing deal. This is not an article to promote you working with me as your publisher, so if you want more details on how this works, contact me.
There are several useful questions for you to consider when making this decision that I had never put in this form before until the subject came up with my client.
So here’s what I gave her to decide:
- What did the self-publishing do for your business?
- What was the purpose of writing the book?
- Did your book deliver on that for you?
- How did it grow you list, get you new clients?
- Why are you deciding to re-publish now?
- What do you want to do differently?
- Why were you thinking that a big publisher might be a good thing to do now?
- What are you looking to have happen that you think a big publisher could accomplish for you?
Whether you are a first time author or an author who has published many books both ways, I think these questions should be answered before you decide which way to go with an future books.
Once you know what your intended outcome is, it’s much easier for us to have a discussion on the benefits of one type of publishing or another in your particular situation.
If you read the Blueprints for Manifesting Your Life article series in September, you’ll remember that one recurring theme that showed up in every article was that there are no hard rules in your life or your business. Everything should always be looked at on a case by case basis and also in terms of you as an individual.
In other words, don’t just do what you see someone else doing and assume if it’s good enough for them it will work out well for you. Let’s figure out what works best for you together.
I’d be happy to answer any question you have on this topic on my blog rather than emailing me individually–and yes you can use a fake name on the blog and nobody sees your email address if you want to protect your privacy.
Until next week, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Just comment on this post on my blog. http://www.YourBreakthroughToSuccess.com/blog
